This large, striking mobile uses bold complimentary colors in a disk format which twist and turn to capture your attention. Two mobiles move both together and independently providing maximum interest. Hand made by Steve Mullen, any art collector cannot miss the "Calder" similarities. Attention is paid to the quality of the woodcraft as well as the science of balance. This modernist piece can be enjoyed when it is stationary and when it moves in a summer breeze.

Steve Mullen has artistic talent which spans expertise in many media. He trained as a carpenter and attended the Antonelli Institute of Art in Philadelphia to study photography. He opened Steve Mullen Photography after teaching the subject for some time. Some of his photography projects involved shooting underwater in exotic locations where he got to experience being one with the sea. Much of his work demonstrates his passion for the ocean. He applies his carpentry skills to create wonderful ocean inspired wood sculptures from Anastasia Island in Florida. With this piece, Mullen uses his carpentry to create colorful "Calder inspired" mobiles.
